The Confidence Project is a narrative web-based choose your own adventure game centered around a text conversation between group mates about the future after graduation. It's characters represent Imposter Syndrome and The Dunning-Kruger Effect.
The website was built using HTML and CSS, utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver for construction.
In order to build my site, I developed basic shells for each "type" of page I'd be creating. I created a launch, or title page, two styles of content pages, and two pages that would detail Imposter Syndrome and The Dunning-Kruger Effect.
These are examples of the some of the developed pages, including one content page, the title page, and the two pages detailing the Imposter Syndrome and the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
I did end up only using one version of the content page, as my original plan was to have the box featuring the text messages to switch sides with each screen to better indicate page changes, but I ended up not liking the way it came out. It felt more confusing than helpful.
I decided to add "solutions" boxes to each of the pages detailing Imposter Syndrome and The Dunning-Kruger Effect.
